Cruising the Bahamas: Highlights from our Vacation

For Spring Break, we headed down to Florida and took at cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Sky. Overall it was a wonderful time though Raymond unfortunately got very ill with the noro virus and spent several hours in the medical center receiving intravenous fluids due to severe dehydration. He was then quarantined to our room for the remainder of our cruise (thankfully it was toward the end of our trip). So if you don't see Raymond in many photos below, you know why. (And I missed getting any photos of Raymond while he was in the medical center.) Below are a few highlights from our cruise:

Eli checking out the view from our porthole.

Here's a shout out to Grandpa David...
there was a bar on the ship named Captain Cook's Bar!

Our first port of call of Lucoya, Bahamas.
Raymond actually lived there for about 4 months nearly
20 years ago so it was very fun for him to see how the place had changed.

Arrgghh!! Pirates!!
At this point Eli was so exhausted he couldn't
enjoy the mural (minutes later he was sound asleep).

Pretty.

Ah, the Bahamas!

Headed back to the ship after checking out Nassua.

Ah, Daddy and Eli...

Eli's adorable curls! One thing to love about a humid climate! :)

All geared up to head to the beach!

Sooo darned cute!

Headed back to the ship. I just loved the color of the water!

Friends we met aboard the ship: Mary, Buck and little Gibson
