"Happy Visit"

This past Monday afternoon we took Eli to our dentist for his first dental appointment which our dental office dubbed a "Happy Visit". The appointment was free and lasted about 15 minutes or so. They gave Eli a new toothbrush, lightly brushed his teeth, counted his teeth, let him lay back in the dental chair and then he got a prize (new toy). For a few days before the appointment we told Eli where we were taking him and that he needed to open his mouth real wide so the dentist could see inside. He did great and it was a positive experience for him. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos (actually I had my camera in my bag but felt pretty silly wanting to take a photo of Eli in the dentist chair, I wish I had! Oh well, next time!)
