Happy Father's Day, Raymond!

For Father's Day this year we headed down to Colorado springs for a quick overnight trip. Raymond loves to getaway so I thought this would be a nice little surprise for him. The surprise got spoiled by a friend but we had a wonderful time nonetheless.

On Saturday we braved the stormy weather and checked out the Springs Spree festival...the only highlights were that Eli got to enjoy some bouncy castles and a few amusement rides. Later that evening we took a stroll through Manitou Springs, had a wonderful dinner creekside then some amazingly delicious frozen custard for dessert and lastly checked out an old-time arcade with coin-op rides.

On Sunday, Father's Day, we explored the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo with its giraffes, kangaroos, hippos, chickens, train and sky ride and more! We hope you had a wonderful day, Raymond! We love you!
