Merry Christmas!!! While the Colorado mountains and the whole east coast, from Vermont all the way down to Georgia, enjoyed a white Christmas, it was nearly 50 degrees with sunshine in Denver, oh joy. Perhaps next year, Eli will get his first "white Christmas"! Our tradition the last 4 years has been to open gifts at home then head to our friend Laurie's for her annual Christmas brunch! Yum! Overall, we had a truly wonderful Christmas! Thanks to everyone for the generous and thoughtful gifts, phone calls from afar and love, love, love!

Eli's handprint made a beautiful Christmas tree keepsake!

A new tri-function trike (a rocker, a push toy and a
riding tricycle) from Grandpa David, thank you!

A DELUXE Radio Flyer red wagon! Already a huge hit with Eli!
Above he's signing for "more" rides in the wagon!
(also from Grandpa David)

A Thomas the Train ride-on toy with a built-in bubble machine from Grandma Cook!
A ride-on toy and bubbles combined...WAY COOL!!! Thank you!

Even with a ton of new toys to play with, Eli loved
playing with the bubble wrap and boxes!

Giant soft blocks to build stuff with! Really though,
Mama builds stuff then Eli comes around to knock it all over!
(also from Grandma Cook)

Eli really got the hang of unwrapping all the gifts, his and ours!

Eli and his new nighttime teddy bear...with matching pajamas
(pure coincidence)! Thank you Great Grandma Lorraine!

Eli, Daddy and the Grinch! A gift from Grandma Joan, thank you!

Hmmm, what's in here?

We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma Joan
up in Boulder. Eli decided to help her unwrap her gifts!

This is how you do it, Grandma Joan...

Making & decorating Christmas cookies for Santa Claus! Mmmm!
